Gina Wieczorek is the Co-founder of CASITAS, a full-service ADU development and consulting firm involved in all phases of the development process within the single-family, multi-family, and affordable housing sectors. Gina has a true passion for residential design and always designs and develops her projects with the final user in mind, providing housing that renters and homeowners are excited and proud to call their homes. Thoughtful and architecturally significant design, from the facade to the interiors, is always a key component to all projects Gina undertakes.
Gina also works as a Development Director at Urbaneer Investment Partners. She has over 10 years of overseeing strategic initiatives, development, and construction on numerous commercial, retail and multi-family projects nationally. As a development Director for Urbaneer, Gina provides the team with seasoned project management experience delivering high-quality projects on schedule and under budget. She specializes in multifamily development and has project-managed mid-rise and high-rise projects in both L.A. and New York. Gina is formerly the Director of Development & Construction for Capstone Equities and Crescent Capital Partners (“CPP”), a privately owned real estate investment and development firm located in Los Angeles. Gina oversaw all aspects of design, entitlement, development, and construction for active projects in the portfolio. During her tenure at Capstone Equities, Gina oversaw the redevelopment of hundreds of multifamily projects with an average unit size of 650 sf.
Andrew Slocum is the Co-Founder of CASITAS, a full-service ADU development and consulting firm involved in all phases of the development process within the single-family, multi-family, and affordable housing sectors. He is driven by the desire to seek projects which consider social and environmental impacts of development. He breaks each project into three subcategories: environmental responsiveness, resource efficiency, and community and cultural sensitivity.
Before co-founding CASITAS Andrew worked full time as a Principal for Green Development Company in Pasadena, CA. He supervised, scheduled, and coordinated on development projects with consultants, including architects, engineers, landscape architects, soils and environmental engineers, and other consultants to ensure necessary approvals and adherence to strict schedules. He advocated and coordinated with local, state, and federal legislative and policymakers looking to support affordable housing and implement housing programs in an effective way. Andrew worked alongside NLIHC, HUD, and FEMA during the 2020 COVID19 Pandemic introducing an emergency housing proposal to the City of Los Angeles.
Casitas works with Making Housing Happen, California YIMBY, Abundant Housing and Casitas Coalition to advocate for fair housing and help address cities required Regional Housing Needs Allocations (RHNA) to add affordable and market rate housing stock to the local market.
